Be A Lifeline With Humanity & Inclusion

Be A Lifeline With Humanity & Inclusion
DA030918resize.pngPeople with disabilities in low-income countries are among the most vulnerable members of society when natural disasters strike or conflict erupts. As children, they are excluded from education and are often left on the sidelines — even during a friendly game of soccer!

For the past 35 years, Humanity & Inclusion (the new name of Handicap International) has been working to improve the lives of people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations, ensuring that no one is excluded from key services or simply fun! We’re working in nearly 60 countries to ensure that people with disabilities can live in dignity, break down barriers, and realize their rights.

For today’s Daily Action, watch Humanity & Inclusion’s "Be a Lifeline" video and share with your friends!

About akutil86

Diagnosed with Aspergers at 34, this blog chronicles some of the life events I've gone through, and how I hope to help others on the Autism Spectrum. Posts that are personal opinions will be moving to another Wordpress site by the end of the year; for those looking for help with autism, I hope you will continue to visit and spread the word about the articles that most of the time are links to something I read. Please let me know what challenges you are facing, and I will do my best to address them. Thanks for reading my blog!
