Our life in three stages – school, work, retirement – will not survive much longer

Anyone on the Spectrum knows that hearing our voice is crucial to defining Who We Are. The Autism Society must play a pivotal role in the restructuring of our 3-phase life. Otherwise we run the risk of being left out of the conversation, and redefining our life will suffer as a result.

The social framework that we rely on: government, employment, and retirement must be redefined as longevity continues to increase. But your ability to network within these three areas will become more crucial as you get older.

Without that Network, and a government that listens to you and act appropriately, your voice must be heard if you are to survive the restructuring in the next few decades.

About akutil86

Diagnosed with Aspergers at 34, this blog chronicles some of the life events I've gone through, and how I hope to help others on the Autism Spectrum. Posts that are personal opinions will be moving to another Wordpress site by the end of the year; for those looking for help with autism, I hope you will continue to visit and spread the word about the articles that most of the time are links to something I read. Please let me know what challenges you are facing, and I will do my best to address them. Thanks for reading my blog!
