Inside a House Helping Teen Moms Break the Cycle of Poverty || Freethink Catalysts

https://youtu.be/DQVoEYu5NPQ

This video from free think is quite appropriate for teenage mothers. But hidden within this video are some lessons the people on the Spectrum might want to take away. Like financial literacy or what does a healthy relationship look like. I’m hoping that Scott, Ben, and the ausome adults group can come together so then we can educate one another. That’s why I want this to be discussed.

No one bothered to teach me about financial literacy. That’s why I’m stuck playing catch up when I should have learned this as a 20-something. The same could be said for what is a healthy relationship as well.

Can we as a group develop a curricula that teaches these important life lessons? I certainly hope so.

About akutil86

Diagnosed with Aspergers at 34, this blog chronicles some of the life events I've gone through, and how I hope to help others on the Autism Spectrum. Posts that are personal opinions will be moving to another Wordpress site by the end of the year; for those looking for help with autism, I hope you will continue to visit and spread the word about the articles that most of the time are links to something I read. Please let me know what challenges you are facing, and I will do my best to address them. Thanks for reading my blog!
